Dear Graham County Travel & Tourism,
"I was heading from Deal's Gap toward Robbinsville when I heard
an awful mechanical sound from my motorcycle. Turns out the splined
shaft and pinion gear were wrecked beyond repair. Made a call to
John at Mountain Motors and a tow was dispatched. He had a parts
bike and removed the parts from it to put on mine. I had a good talk
with John while he worked on the bike--what a fine man and a fine
representative for the people of 'Graham' County! He had me on the
way in time for a great ride through the Cherohala. But what most
impressed me was that while he could have gouged me, for I was at
his mercy, what he charged for his service, parts and knowledge was
more than reasonable. Thanks to people like John, I'll be back."

for your hospitality. We were at your door step last Monday in the
pouring rain at supper time. When a vicious downpour was occurring,
and we needed service (manifold gasket) after doing The Dragon. It
was so nice of you to provide dry towels and hot coffee to perfect
strangers, and on top of it all to get us back on the road to the
rest of our vacation. The bike ran great all the way over to Nag's
Head, NC and back home to Treichlers, Pennsylvania. Thanks again,
and it is really nice to have someone help you when you are far from
